TS419P II drive compatibiity quetion

Post by tonylima »

Currently have 4x4tb ST4000VN000. QNAP says the box can handle 10tb drives. I have 4 from upgrading another QNAP. But they are ST10000NM0086. Not listed as compatible on either the offical list or the wiki. My worry: only 2 of the 4 screw holes align. Advice greatly appreciated. (Yes, I have filed a request with QAP.)

Thanks,
Tony

Old CAT1 NAS have a volume limit of 16TB, so you can only run those drives as single or in RAID1 pairs, so be aware

As long as two screw holes allign, it should be fine
