Have anyone tested WD Red Pro 20 TB

Post by Lugie »

Have anyone tested WD Red Pro 20 TB (WD201KFGX) in a Qnap NAS? I want to use them in my Qnap TVS-1282T3 but I guess the drives are so new that Qnap have not been able to fully test them out. I can´t find them in the compatibility list.
NAS: Qnap TVS-872XT, Qnap TVS-1282T3

I don't know about your specific NAS, but I just bought two QNAP TS-253D NASes and four 20 TB WD Red Pro WD201KFGX-68BKJN0 drives (two drives per NAS).

I'm running them in RAID 1 and they seem to be working fine and show the full capacity.

Thanks for letting me know!

Tested 22TB ones in RAID 5-work like a charm on TS-673a
