Multichanel audio output forces high speed playback

Post by baliya »

Hi there.
I don't know when the issue started, but lately on my 451+, if external ac3 or dts decoder is ativated, and a movie with this kind of audio is played, the video goes at high speed., x4 or so with no audio
I've tried as much as could imagine on audio section with no results at all. May be anyone has an idea that could help.
Thks for your help

Which Plex client are you using? Plex Media Server is the Backend and doesn't offer any direct playback itself.

I use the the plex app via hybridesk station through the hdmi output.
The version istalled is 1.4.1.470.
Not sure if that is the answer youre looking for...

Have you installed Plex Media Player?

You can get a version from the Community Apps forum on this site.

Known issue on old unsupported (by Plex) version. Use OpenPHT, or Plex Media Player (pmp) from community apps forum.

Thks for the answer. Plex Media Player works fine, kodi works fine too, just plex fails
I've take a look to openPHT and wasn't able to figure out which version I should use, my linux skills are much limited, sorry about that.
I'll investigate.
Thks again
