Thanks, not a problem to wait ... because after it's for test and verification ... so keep the script in case of ... promise will be not as we expect ...

Hi Philippe,

It seems to me that with the FW version 4.3.3.0396 the problem has been solved. What do you think?

Michele

I don't know for 4.3.3 ... but it's true with 4.3.4 (I have already updated my NAS to 4.3.4) ... even it's not indicated in the changelog ??

so, do a survey with 4.3.3 using htop for ex.
And I don't know if HD_Station 3.2.2 is proposed for 4.3.3

Philippe.

I updated to 4.3.3 last week.
The issue is still present.

I've made a firmware update 3 days ago (looking in my control panel actually I've installed ver 4.3.3.0396), and an update of media streaming addon, while HD_Station is yet 3.2.1. Since these update I've noticed (via resource monitor of qnap) that Cpu and Memory Usage has become "normal" and that hdsfusemnt is no more HIGH CpU consuming!

With v4.3.3.0396 installed on a TS-453 Pro

Before a HD Station restart:

After:

NB: I haven't restarted the NAS since the firmware update completed - might do that later tonight on the off chance that whatever helped other users with the same issue kicks in for me.

Has anyone installed fw update 4.3.3.0404?
Any relevant Issue to be marked?

I've just logged in remotely and updated both my NASs.
On my primary (TS-453) after reboot Hybrid Deskstation immediately raged out of control on CPU usage in the usual way - hdfusemnt was using over 50% CPU on it's own.
I've restarted HD Station and will check again at the usual post-6pm time to see if it's behaving itself; I don't expect any surprise fix.

Really strange. I instead confirm that since I installed fw update 4.3.3.0396 on my NAS (TS 251+), 5 days have passed and without ever restarting HD Station the situation is as follows, whereas before the installation of the firmware update the situation was similar to that described by TazUk.

Just checked - hdfusemnt at 64% CPU, dropped to 0.25% (sleeping) after a restart of HD Station.

A Christmas miracle may be afoot..

I updated to 4.3.4.0427 Build 20171223 24 hours ago and updated HD Station to v3.2.2.

I have had no excessive CPU usage from hdfusemnt since then.

YMMV of course.

I do agree, also updated to 4.3.4.0427 and got HDStation 3.2.2 and no CPU issue.
