Hi all,
I currently have 2 QNaps, QNAP & QNap_2. On QNAP I have my TV Shows, then on QNap_2 I have my 1080P video's on one pool, then my 4K videos on another pool.
I can only get Plex to display the video's on the same pool that Plex is installed on.
How would I list the other two paths so I can add them to my library?
Below are two screenshots of the path that does work.
Thanks for any help,
Fubie

Re: Library in 3 different pools across 2 QNaps
No help, sorry but....
I'm having the same problem. I have a TS-453be with plex installed on Storage Pool 1. I added a TR-004 expansion unit (storage pool 3) and thought I could just add a shared folder, place video's inside and add it to Plex's library. I can add the folder but Plex does not add the videos to it's library.
Hope we can find a solution as this will limit library size.
Jeff.

I found a solution to media on different pools.
Each pool is indentified in Plex by CACHEDEVx.
Here's a screenshot of mine.

Re: Library in 3 different pools across 2 QNaps
Question I have the same but different issue
I have a TS-659 and it is old unable to upgrade past 4.2.6 and as a result the version of Plex server that I could run on that NAS would be old.
I also have a newer TS-453BT3 that I would like to run the Plex server on and have the media on TS-659 a part of its library.
How do I do that create a remote mount from one NAS to the other? So that I can one Plex server see all of my Content.
