[SOLVED] PMS on QNAP - “Not Authorized”

Post by Ak1rA »

QNAP, TS-251A, OS Version 4.5.4.1741
OS Version 4.5.4.1741
PlexMediaServer-1.24.2.4973-2b1b51db9

after a normal manual installation of PlexMediaServer I got this message
https://imgur.com/a/u1MXhr1

I just tried the workaround but doesn't work

Code: Select all

Stop Plex

Create a Shared Folder named PlexData

Restart Plex

Stop Plex

Open FileStation

Navigate PlexData/Plex Media Server

Delete Preferences.xml

Exit File Station

Start Plex - wait a minute for it to start up

Open an INCOGNITO window to http://qnap-ip:32400/web

Now start setup
Can you help me?
Thanks.

it's not the right way, every time I will try to go on http://<IP of NAS>:32400/web (after log on) I got the "Not Authorized" message.
I found a solution: complete the installation into a lan without any other Plex instance (I have the main server on a UnRaid installation).
