QNAP TR004 excluded by default in QSirch

Post by MichaelAsg »

I have two TR004 attached and QSirch does not indexes them. The path to these drives are in the "Excluded folders (system default)". There is no edit for those system paths.

I need to index those paths.
Any help please?

Never used Qsirch .. but I could imagine external storage is by default not indexed. (Only internal volumes and pools)

Is there a way to make those external drives a Pool without reformating... Each of the drive has a lot of data on them and moving it around is quite an operation...

no, but it sounds as if you don't have backups .. ALWAYS have backups of all important data (a RAID is not a backup)
