Qsirch consuming 100% of memory?

Post by zyphaz »

Hi all,

I've noticed in the past few weeks that Qsirch can run away with memory consumption. I'm running a TVS-872XT (i5-8400T) with 64GB of RAM and checking top...shows that QSirch is consuming as much phys + virtual memory as it can grab.

Code: Select all

Mem: 65337156K used, 493800K free, 101592K shrd, 60032K buff, 531656K cached
CPU: 33.1% usr 16.5% sys 0.0% nic 10.2% idle 39.5% io 0.0% irq 0.5% sirq
Load average: 20.35 26.98 25.89 3/3511 4250
PID PPID USER STAT VSZ %VSZ CPU %CPU COMMAND
14380 10390 admin D 72987m110.4 3 0.3 /share/CACHEDEV15_DATA/.qpkg/Qsirch/bin/python -m bin.run_file_listener -n 0
I have the latest version of Qsirch installed; 5.1.3 and I'm running QTS 4.5.4.1741

If this is causing issues with your NAS, report this to QNAP via ticket, only this way they will know about it
