NTFS permissions don't propagate

Looks like QES doesn't propagate NTFS permissions to new shares. I'm guessing this is what's meant by "Advanced Folder Permissions" in this article: https://www.qnap.com/en/how-to/knowledg ... ons-in-qes

"In QES system, there is no Advanced Folder Permission function. "

The article then goes to demonstrate the simple step of disabling inheritance on all subdirectories and modifying permissions manually. Have fun propagating those permissions!

Yet another "feature" that makes me wish I'd never purchased QNAP.
