Re: Can't login to QIot
Had the same problem but I found a solution. My passphrase for the "admin"-account contained a special sign like $ § % & and after i removed it, it was possible to login. 2-step-verification was working perfectly.
Hope I can help someone with this information.
NAS TS-251, 1TB Raid 1, 16 GB RAM
Firefox 65.0.2
QNAP-Firmware 4.3.6.0805
QIoT-Version 1.2.066

Re: Can't login to QIot
which version of QIoT you used ? and may try to follow this article
https://www.qnap.com/en/how-to/faq/arti ... suite-lite
If these messages persist, check your network access permissions in Control Panel > System > Security > Allow/Deny List. If "Allow connections from the list only" is selected, this may cause issues with connecting to QIoT Suite Lite. For more information, check https://www.qnap.com/go/how-to/faq/con_show.php?cid=837

Re: Can't login to QIot
I have tried every cure in this thread short of changing my admin password ( which has a ,<special char> in it) and I still cannot log into QIOT.
I actually used it up to the last couple of updates. It's a shame this app is so unstable. I really wanted to use it.

Re: Can't login to QIot
Any solution to this issue? I just installed QIot and cannot login, tried using all the combinations of browsers and login credentials suggested throughout this thread and nothing works. If this has this bad of an issue they should remove it from the available apps.

Re: Can't login to QIot
Same thing. Cannot login.
Plus I've disabled default admin account and using other admin account with 2f authentication.
App should not rely on default admin user.
Can anyone from @qnap help desk help with this?

Re: Can't login to QIot
Figured it out...
I had my "admin" account disabled. so, log into your QNAP and enable the admin account. then go to the IoT page and login with "admin" and whatever password you had set to that. if you have 2 factor enabled, you will need to enter that code too. if all is correct, you should log in instantly.
once you are logged in to IoT, go to the users page and hover the mouse over the + Add user button on top left. you will see "import a user from QTS", click that and you should be able to import your usual username you have been using to log into the QNAP. If this username has admin right in QNAP, you will also receive admin rights in IoT (see Role column). Else, you can create a new username as well, but i didn't see a way to assign admin role to this.
Anyway, if you successfully imported your usual username, then you can log back into QNAP and disable the admin account again. Then just log into IoT with your usual username and should work fine with full admin rights.
hope this helps anyone still struggling.
