How do I permanently disable "QNAP AI Core" facial and object recognition?
Hello. I'm using QTS 5.0.0.1932 and Multimedia Console 1.6.1 on a 8GB x86 QNAP NAS. I need to permanently disable the QNAP AI Core features of facial and object recognition. The Multimedia Console app apparently only allows you to pause it. I don't need the feature, it is taking forever to index everything on my very large storage pool and it will needlessly slow down the NAS for the features I do need, not to mention the disk space taken by the indexing. There MUST be a way to disable it!
By the way: how do I submit feedback to the developers?
Thanks!!

I totally agree and the fact that QNAP AI Core coult not be deactivated without deactivating QSearch (the last is essential in a NAS) is more than suspect from QNAP and may infringe the RGPD european laws.
Is QNAP transmitting informations from my NAS to QNAP Company or to other companies ?

Unless you block all traffic from the NAS, only QNAP would know (they do not come here. see the second post)
