Hi all,
I'm glad to tell you that QVR Face expands to support more models including AMD series. If you have models listed below, you can download the QVR Face Tiger from App Center on your NAS.
・TVS-672N/TVS-872N
・TVS-672XT/TVS-872XT
・TVS-682/TVS-882/TVS-882BR
・TS-677/TS-877
For those using TS-253B/TS-253Be/TVS-472XT, QNAP'll publish QVR Face Insight probably next week. Stay tuned.

You can download it from APP Center on QNAP website by selecting TVS-872 model for a trial.(http://srcqnap.qnap.com.tw/en/app_cente ... Face+Tiger)
QNAP'll keep testing and verifying to ensure the APP is stable enough to run on various models.

Don't really mean to troll this thread but just sharing experience and information.
I installed and tested on my 1282 and really couldn't find any benefit to it. I like the interface but that's not enough for me to justify a license.
I have since implemented a much better solution and open-source which has been available for a few years on the QNAP though a home assistant VM and have added a GPU to the QNAP to make it even faster. There are actually been plenty of open source options. I intend on continuing to investigate various options. I am currently using dlib.

Re: QVR Face
Can you release this on the 451+. That should meet the min specs.

You're right. There're plenty of open-source for facial recognition users can choose.
QNAP dedicated to provide an easy-to-deploy and use product and it also is deeply integrated with our own surveillance systems.
Currently, we just announced a new version which is more powerful and stable.
Brand new feature "Face Search" ,which can help you search and playback the footage by one's name or image, is also included. (should work with QVR Pro v2.0.0.0)
Welcome to give it a try!

Re: QVR Face
Thank you! It's been 9 months and I have since developed my own solution with a state of the art model and integrated it in my home automation system about 6 months ago. (all run on the QNAP)QNAP_JT wrote: ↑Tue Mar 23, 2021 2:08 pm Dear Rafale,
