first QNAP youtube CES 2019 video spotted
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rtyjY_XZOU

they missed some stuff. also was hoping they'd at least ask some more interesting questions. like when qts 4.4.x for the other qnap models is expected (seeing as this may be a requirement to install QuMagie).

and another youtuber showed up @20:31

there are SO many new products from QNAP, I have a headache.
And now, they just announced a Fiber channel product as well.

i understand the sentiment. i don't mind them diversifying, as long as it does not negatively affect the core models i'm personally interested in, more specifically qts support/longevity of firmware releases.

anyway seems we got a boatload more info sprung on us today.

I don’t think they’ve announced anything yet. Could be one of those silent upgrades like on the TVS-x82 (SkyLake to KabyLake).
