TS-873A unresponsive after reboot if ethernet is connected (re-post)

Post by pippotaz »

Device: TS-873A
Firmware: QuTS Hero h4.5.3.1698

Setup: I have the NAS connected via it's 2.5G port 1 to my main network and a second connection via an installed QNAP QXG-10G1T going to a separate 10G switch on a different network.

I've now tried a few times to restart the nas via the web interface or mobile app and every single time the nas get's stucked and becomes completely unresponsive, it doesn't show up on QFinder nor can I ping either of it's static IPs (on both networks).

The LEDs are like this

-status light is solid green
-Lan light is quickly flashing orange
-USB light is green (no usb devices attached at all)
-Both M.2 lights are solid green
-HDD lights 1 to 6 are solid green
-HDD lights 7 and 8 are off

I can fix it by unplugging both ethernet cables, short press the power button to turn off and then short press again to start with the cables unplugged and then reconnect them after boot is completed, once I'm back in the web interface there are no errors shown and everything appear to work as normal.....
Help Desk ticket has been opened but I'm wondering if anyone else encountered a similar problem, I'm also pasting below the relevant parts of the diagnostic log (i think they are the relevant parts at 04:35).
