Creating bootable USB

Post by cosmoco2021 »

My QNAP TS-451 cannot boot after a firmware upgrade. I want to create a bootable USB drive so I can boot up from the USB and reapply the firmware upgrade to boot up normally. How do I create a bootable USB drive for TS-451 ? Thank You.

BIG WARNING! Do NOT disable USB3 in the BIOS. Your QNAP will become unaccessible.
The knappix image (dsl linux) ist to outdated to support USB3. QNAP hast to upgrade that revocvery guied (for TS-x53-Pro at least)
