TS251+ Fan replacement
Hi I'm New to QNAP and couldn't find an answer to my question thought I'd try this let me know if I'm out of line. so I would like to replace the fan in my TS251+ the current fan is a 70mm 12vdc rated @ 0.15A. what I am trying to figure out is if I want to replace it with a better performing unit that has similar specs except the new one has a 0.35A rating. where can I find out what the system is capable of supporting for the fan current rating? I don't want to plug in a unit that exceeds the capability of the system. I have to think it is rated to handle more that the 0.15A of the stock fan. thanks for any help you can offer.

Re: TS251+ Fan replacement
The current fan should be a regular 4 pin pwm model, so as long as you stay within size specifications, any 4pin pwm should work
I have seen many threads about noctua fans beeing a preferred brand for replacements
