Recently i wanted to buy a cat6a ethernet cable, but the e seller i normally buy from said they only focus on cat7 ethernet cables now when i asked when they would restock different lenghts for cat6a
so i did some digging and found this article that explains the difference between cat 6a and cat7.
in conclusion for 10gbe the minimum and recommended is still cat6a
for 2.5gbe cat5e is all you need. but i still prefer cat6a for future proofing (also since price wise it isn't that much more to me anyway)

Cat5e: 1G to 100m (328ft), 2.5G capable
Cat6: 10Gbps to 55m (180ft)
Cat6a: 10Gbps to 100m (328ft)
Cat8: 25G and 40G to 30m (98ft)
then there is the other thing to consider. flat ethernet cables or rounded cables. i get rounded, you can dyor i did. and they recommended to get rounded ideally
