Hi. Today I moved files from the external hdd to the NAS using web File Station. After waiting for a while, the task has completed moving 1976 / 2060 files. 84 files are missing. Where are they? What could I do?
Right now, there are no files left in the external hdd. I couldn't tell what files are missing.
What I did exactly was this:
1. Plug external hdd in to NAS by USB
2. Open File Station, and navigate to external hdd.
3. Tick all the folders I wanted to move (I have around 20 folders).
4. Click wrench icon.
5. Select "Move to"
6. Choose destination.
7. Double check that I check the Overwrite option.
8. Click OK and wait.....
How do I know what files are missing? Thanks!

Re: File missing during File Station "Move to.." command
Discussed and explained before ... a move can have not a nice behaviour. Always use copy instead.
Hard to say which folder/files were not moved - and why - in retrospective.
