Finished running the long smart test
no issues as far as i can tell.... but smart test is not always accurate
running a scan disk next to check for badblocks. completed, no warning messages popped up, so i assume no badblocks found.
As precaution i ordered a WD red 4tb NAS hdd as a replacement just in case

while restarting, the shutdown process was not moving, so i select to force shutdown.
now on reboot it is doing a raid rebuild
looking at the logs, this time it didn't really single out any one drive as to why it is now rebuilding
also why is storage manager saying status ready, no indicator of any degraded mode, and yet top right task status says there is a raid rebuild taking place. is this a bug?
