[Guide] How to setup and use OpenVPN on your QNAP

Post by Moogle Stiltzkin » Sun Aug 11, 2019 2:35 pm

A video not by me, but still quite useful for those wanting to know how to do this for your QNAP.

either you setup your vpn server on your router, or on your QNAP (using QVPN app). This guide seems to be setup for the later (QVPN).

If i'm not mistaken, qvpn recent change had reduced the openvpn AES 256 to 128 :' ....

QNAP has an official guide for QVPN here. I suggest also relying on it in addition to the video.
