either you setup your vpn server on your router, or on your QNAP (using QVPN app). This guide seems to be setup for the later (QVPN).

If i'm not mistaken, qvpn recent change had reduced the openvpn AES 256 to 128 :' ....

just an update, i checked qvpn on qts 4.4.1 with latest qvpn, i then checked openvpn, and there is indeed a 256AES option again.
