@9:00 they go through the UI changes



my past issues with videostations was mostly
- codec support
- subtitle support


these were issues that plex, emby and kodi had no problem with, but for some reason video station did. that was the only reason i did not use it.

i use a lot of h265/hevc videos, so if the app doesn't support that, i may have run into trouble with playback.

*someone on the forum figured out a tweak to get back h265 support. you can search for it 8)

but if you are using h264 and other supported formats, then you can most likely use video station just fine.

i also watch a lot of anime, so SSA subtitle support is pretty crucial for me also :' things that plex,emby and kodi can do just fine.


tldr: even if videostation doesn't live up to expectation, you can still resort to plex, emby or kodi and get by just fine.
