[Guide] How to finance your next QNAP using gaming

Post by Moogle Stiltzkin »

Disclaimer: this is not financial advice. i only share an interesting fun way to finance your next qnap nas with little effort once you first get setup. this is what i do as a side job for the lelz but is in fact quite profitable for the average joe :)
Before we get started, this explains what NFT's are about

Axie Infinity.... read the whitepaper what it's about
https://whitepaper.axieinfinity.com

if that's too much to digest, this is a fan simplified explanation
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTCOodp9F0g

basically you have these virtual pets (think of them like pokemons, which they were based off conceptually). It's gaming on the block chain nfts with a market place that supports gaming economics. All those cute axie pets, they all are friggin expensive.

The rank #1 axie player explains how axie infinity works
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkWhsS_dnXE

If you invest in axies (you need 3 of them to get started with the game). Each axie cost roughly somehwere between 160-200 usd on the low end
https://marketplace.axieinfinity.com/axie?class=Beast

Instead of investing directly, you can opt for scholarships (these are even encouraged by the axie infinity developers). On the axie infinity official discord you can apply for scholarships. I got into one myself with good terms i may add :) . You will take a % of what you earn, while your sponsor takes a % cut as well. In return he loans you his axies to play the game with to earn those slps. In time you can use your new earnings to buy your own axie's. Because after all, you want to own those axies and be able to breed more to sell, and make stronger axies to make playing game easier to meet your daily slp to make a steady income from it.

i posted a video of me playing axie infinity when i just got started :) *i played badly lel cauz i was new
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6rj7BfHNlE

This is the profit formula.

50 slp from the daily (ez), then 100 slp cap from adventure mode (this only gets easier once you level up axies and are able to farm the lv 20 ish modules which lets you farm slps easily and fast). Playing arena lets you earn lots of slps if you have a good win rate. The higher ranked you are, and the more wins you get, you can earn lots of slp. each match is roughly 5 minutes each.

anyway you can earn 150 slp daily. More if you use your energy which resets every few hours to go fight in pvp arena to earn SLP. It's highly recommended to get to 10 axie pets so that you get a faster energy generation rate to be able to earn slp faster.

SLP's are called "smooth love potions", no pun inteded. It's basically an aphrodisiac for these axies to mate so you can create new axies, which you hope are good by combining their parents genes. Sounds funny but this is the game system.

SLP prices are listed on binance or coingeko
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/smooth-love-potion

you can then convert it to a stable coin like USDT, USDC or BUSD. Then cash for fiat (or if you are smart, invest it back into crypto and watch it skyrocket to the moon :D )

How to Farm SLP like a Pro! 100 per hour strategy.

Code: Select all

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBNz2251HEE

when first starting out, you can farm 150 slp daily using 3-4 hours gameplay.

once you can do lv 20 modules you can cut this time down to 2 hours to earn 150 slp. Not 100% sure, but maybe you may need 10 axie's to reduce the time to this point? :'

it's possible to get more slp beyond 150 in a day, by playing pvp arena using energy. (this is why owning 10 or more axies is important, so you got the energy to use for pvp)

some youtubers claim you can eventually do 300-400 slp a day (most likely you have to pvp a lot, and also be higher up in the rankings for these sorts of gains i suspect)

so lets just say 150 slp to be conservative (per day) * $0.12 (which is current slp price. this may fluctuate) * 30 days = what you can earn in a month, you do the math

Some players are so good with axie gaming, that they made money to buy houses with it :' (i presume with their many axies they will then sponsor others, trade axies, youtube channels to generate this kind of money )
NFTs Are Becoming a Major Source of Income for Crypto Newbies in the Philippines to Colombia

April 6, 2021

Before April 2020, Paul had never purchased cryptocurrency, let alone even heard of an NFT. Less than a year later, his NFT trading profits have netted him around 17 times the yearly minimum wage in his native Colombia (around $3,100 annually) and allowed him to buy his first house.

He isn’t the only one, either. In developing countries around the world, NFTs are offering an unprecedented avenue for income during a global pandemic.

Non-fungible tokens are unique, non-interchangeable tokens used to represent digital property stored on-chain. NFTs have boomed in the past couple months, with single tokens from renowned artists and musicians selling for hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars. But Paul’s story shows it’s not just celebrities benefiting from this new technology.

If it's so good, why am i sharing this here? because i'm a long time member of this community so i wanted to give back and empower others to be able to cope with the bad financial situation due to covid that everyone is suffering from. So now you don't have to worry about how to finance your next qnap nas, or hdd replacements. Just wanted to share a fun but profitable way to go about this :)

the other method is the crypto investment HODL scene. This is my other recommendation but i won't go into too much detail about that, but if you are interested you should follow george and guy's channels, they share some good stuff to learn about crypto.

Real Impact
Covid lockdowns played a major role in Axie’s popularity in the Philippines.

“A lot of people were laid off, stuck at home, no work, getting hungry,” said Dizon. “Then word started getting around that there was this game you could download and play and actually turn it into real money.”

It sounds too good to be true, so Yield Guild initiated a campaign for their players to display the results of their Axie earnings using #salamataxie on Facebook. “Salamat” is Filipino for “thank you.”
https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/salamataxie

note: before buying an axie, you may want to find out if and when you can get axie pets for free
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cgmsb3XJRWg

honestly though i don't think they will make them free anytime soon. why would they when business is doing good? axie demand is through the roof despite not having free axie's :D

fair enuff. it is rather borderline. but i have no gain in this. i just wanted to share a good way to earn to afford your next qnap nas since some people complain they are pricey. so in that sense... it's not that off topic i would hope

i made quite a lot doing this so thought i'd share with the qnap community.

old post. but since u kindly created a new account specifically to troll and necro post, i'll give a quick update.

slp fell quite substantially (u can thank multi accounters and botters for that). so i recommend different methods instead of this.

it amazes me how people behave like this. i lose no sleep over this. if anything, ur own actions says more about u than it does about me.

do u really want to spend ur time/life acting so petty and childish? just a word of advice, u may want to self reflect on this. but if ur content on being this type of person well :S

*shrug
