Change forum email address

Hi All,

After some persistence, credit to the UK support team that came back to me with a positive response. I can now change my email address. Hope it works for some other users now.

It was an orchestrated multi-channel action

Hope it works for some other users now.

Changing the email address should be possible for all authenticated users now.

Note the "contact" in the forum footer was removed, too.

Yep me too. Soon my old email adress will be deleted and I cannot change my email address here.

contact qnap via ti ket .. they were the ones "castrating" the forum

I really can not understand that you can not change your email address here. Why the hell?

They disabled lots of features here

- change of email
- change of NAS type
- private messaging
- 24h login cookie duration
- an overeager word censorship (e.g. the word *w*atch* is censored in some topics)

... and sometimes "shoe" - I guess it could be terribly offensive to call someone a shoe. I'll try it and post back.

edit: nah, I just yelled it at someone walking by my house - he gave me a confused look but I don't think he was offended.
