TS-659 pro 2 factory Reset, does it wipe the disks?

Hello all,

I will be getting rid of the above nas, however to check , should i do a factory reset, does it wipe the disks (6 disks on raid 5) or do i have to manually wipe each disk one by one on a PC? Any suggestions will be great!

To be sure..clear all disks externally with a data destroyer program (overwrites each disk with a pattern) .. otherwise a simple format will not "really" remove your data

or sell the NAS without disks
