NAS as VPN-server but VPN-clients are not able to connect to running services on the NAS

Post by ApoApo »

Hi,

I've configured OpenVPN server on my TS-230. VPN-clients are able to ping to LAN-devices and even use them, like printers etc..
But the strange thing is that VPN-clients are not able to ping the LAN adress of the NAS himself, or not even see the SMBshares and FTP.

The ip-pool of the VPN-server is 192.168.2.2-254.

My LAN has a router that serves also as a DHCP-server and uses the adresses 192.168.1.0/26 . The router, NAS and printers in my LAN has a prefered ip-adress.

I don't know why VPN-clients can ping to for example : 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2 but not 192.168.1.3(NAS-IP).

Can anybody help me to solve this issue ?

Issue solved, the NAS-firewall was the issue.
