Hi all.
I can't connect to one of my QNAP NAS´es from Q-finder anymore.
Q-Finder finds the NAS but when I try to connect to it, it opens a browser and downloads a quick.cgi file instead of opening the login screen as it does with my other NAS.
Cant login with Q-File, Q-manager either to the NAS in question. To the other NAS it works without issues.
Anyone have any idea what went wrong?
Cant connect to my NAS anymore.

NAS model ?
If this is an old CAT1, your config was reset (catastrophic failure)
try to reach your NAS with this
http://NASIP:8080/cgi-bin/quick/html/index.html

It is an old one. A TS-419p+.
It seams to startup as it should, no red diods on it.
And I can reach some settings on the LCD-panel on the front, but the options there are of course quite limited.

It says, "Could not login" and redirects me to: NASIP:8080/redirect.html?count=0.45274596819168444 and downloads a file named: quick.cgidolbyman wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 6:46 am NAS model ?

If I open the file in the text editor it is just a bunch of jibberish.

Hmmm. Something is weird here.
I started Q-finder on my Mac and the disks in the NAS I can't login to spun up, so there is obviously some kind of communication going on.
At least Wake On Lan seams to work.

Re: Cant connect to my NAS anymore.
I had the problem with no access to NAS, and quick.cgi being downloaded. I solved it by pressing the reset button so that two beeps were heard. NAS rebooted and then I could logon (default username and password)
Best regards
