Hello,
I have a TVS-871T-i7-16G and now it's dead as a nail. No lights anywhere. I haven't opened it to see if there are any lights on the inside.
From what I have read on this forum it looks like the power supply has gone. Do you know what power supply I need to order and how difficult it is to install it myself?
Thank you

Quick google later:
https://shop.qnap.com/index.php?route=p ... duct_id=62
This power supply, probably same difficulty/ease to swap as a regular tower form factor power supply

I saw this power supply, however, no online retailer says it is compatible with TVS-871T. This puzzled me a bit hence my decision to post here.

If it is given as compatible on QNAP's own website, you can be pretty sure that it is. If you want to make sure, open a ticket with support.

Before dropping $207US on that power supply, it may be worth testing yours with a DMM, or some other way. Hopefully, support will be able to help you troubleshoot the problem. It would be unfortunate to spend a lot of money and find that isn't the problem.
If it is the problem, it may be worth investing in a quality UPS if you don't already have one in case if was caused by voltage issues, brownout, lightning, etc. And, hopefully if the P/S did go due to one of those, there isn't any other damage.
Please report back with any updates.

Changed power supply, unit is still dead. No lights, no sound, the power button does nothing.
I have been reading about the motherboard issue with other TVS models. Wondering if that could be the case with mine.
Has anyone had similar issues?
Thanks
