TS-451+ has lost access to all files

Post by Smithfam »

On my TS451+ with 4 4TD drives, we lost access to all of the files.
The first error was a "Cannot resolve DNS Server" error
The drives also showed 0KB of date (they should be 80 % full)
We resolved the DNS error problem and we can see the 4 drives now.
I can see the shares but there is still no data.

Considering using the ReclaiMe data recovery software. Has anyone had experience with this software in doing data recovery?

I assume you have no backup based on the post.
Have you reached out to QNAP support?

Some screenshots from Storage&Snapshots would may be helpful.
Status of raid is: offline, online, degraded, ... ???
Was NAS exposed to internet?
Access to CLI available? If so, output of
