I have a QNAP TS-231P and I am having issues locating it on Qsync – can not find the NAS after powering it down due to electrical maintenance work. Decided to do a reset but the reset button looks like it may be damaged – it looks like if I push it in further it may break.
Is there another way to reset my password to the default so I can locate the NAS again without using the reset button? I obviously do not want to lose my data on the drives (although they are backed up). Thanks in advance.

Re: QNAP Reset Issue | TS-231P
Check in your router or DHCP server to see what IP address has been assigned and access it directly (I've never bothered with qfinder in over 5 years of usage).
You can also download a free LAN scanner to scan your local IP range to see what devices can be discovered.
Once you get the IP, access the admin GUI and go from there.
