crontab missing multiple power schedules

Post by marioqn »

I have defined under power schedule to start and shutdown the station twice a day. Every time it should stay up half an hour, do some sync jobs, and shutdown again. But, only the first two entries land in crontab, in my case a startup and shutdown (at least they're paired haha). Is this "by design" so?

Submit a Ticket with QNAP, only they can answer if this is by design or not.

Yes, thats correct, but all other entries are still valid and power schedule works.
But in crontab you will not find an entry for every event.
If you check crontab in power-on state, you should notice that crontab is modified for the next event.
