I'm using the most recent release candidate of QTS 5.1.
When I started using the beta version the hourly events went from about 10 on average to about 3.
Very recently It is getting 1000 events per hour.
I have tried to look at my hardware firewall to see if anything is suspicious and nothing obvious to me.
The QuFirewall says its source is any and not a specific IP address.
How to I figure this out to see if the threat is real or not?
Firewall recently went to 1000 events per hour

Re: Firewall recently went to 1000 events per hour
What IP adresses are you seeing ?
External attacks or internal noise?
If it's internal noise..just uninstall QuFirewall (why have it?)
If it's external attacks..get the NAS out of the web asap!

How do you tell if they are internal vs external???
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

You have to show the events
internal IPs would be something like 192.168.1.20
Just show the log screenshots, internal IP's are not unique and do not violate privacy
