even tough i choosed "only use https", the ports 80, 8081, 8080 are open. port 631 (rpinter service?) too. did not found a way to close it.
Every unused port is a (possible) security lack...
thanks for any hint!

shouldn't be an issue if your nas is in your private lan only and not forwarded to wan

correct, but the qnap is running in a medium risk environment & open/free wlan, so i try to close everything not necessary.

an open wifi should be fenced off in a vlan or segregated subnet (some routers even have guest wifi with lan block)
otherwise https is as vulnerable as http

hi & thanks for your answers! ..... unfortunately, this plot has to be in this way. so i will try find a way to close all not necessary ports. (nevertheless i take all actions to secure this device by the known tasks...)
