Re: TS-451+ running Firmware version 4.5.3.1652 Build 20210428
Suddenly the admin user has lost permissions to the Homes folder. I don't know if this occurred as a result of a recent firmware update, but is manifested by error messages from Qsync stating the process cannot start due to an issue with the Home Folder.
On checking the folder share permissions, the homes folder shows in the list of shared folders, but the Property and Edit icons are grayed out and cannot be opened.
Also, when logged on as a user, the home folder does not appear in the File Station list. so it appears all users, including admin have lost all permissions to the respective home folders.
While finding out why this happened might be interesting, it's more important that access to the homes folder be restored. How is this accomplished?
Thanks, Bill
