Photo Station Shortcut on Login Screen

Post by rmcpdias »

Hi, good afternoon.

Does anyone here know if there's a way to create a link to File Station on the login screen, like we have, for instance, with Photo Station?

File Station is an embedded QTS authenticated-use application. So, it requires the user to login to QTS before it can be used. There'd be no-point offering a link to it on the QTS login screen, as the link would also need to point to a QTS login screen. ;)

Yes, but Photo Station also requires authentication. And we can access File Station using <IP Adress>:8080/filestation.

It does, but it's a separate and distinct QPKG'd application - it's not embedded in QTS. Different login.

... Which also requires a login (using the QTS login details):

to remove photostation icon for login screen, go appcenter and there is a drop down selection to choose not to display on login screen.

on qts, you can pop up a left side panel. from there u can DRAG drop onto the QTS main desktop screen.

or if you are refering to login screen app selection, then the process is same like i mentioned. if that option is not available for filestation, then they probly did not add the option for it :(
