Hi All,
As the subject suggests, after I disabled the default admin account for security reasons, Qsync fails as it was using the admin credentials to log in from my
Win10 machine. But when I try and edit that from Qsync settings, it does not allow me to change the credentials to another admin user. Please advise.
cheers

Re: Qsync fails with disabled admin account
Pls cancel this request. I am finding qsync is not doing what i wanted so the point is moot for me.
best regards, Allan

Re: Qsync fails with disabled admin account
Why canceling this request? Please don't.
I have the same issue. For security reasons I have disabled the admin account on my qnap device and create another admin account.
But in the Qsync app I am not able to change the admin username to another admin account.
The Qsync version I currently use is 5.0.2.0927. (Most recent version right now)
This seems to be a bug in the qsync app
Kind regards,
Paul Willems

Re: Qsync fails with disabled admin account
This can be fixed.. However it doesn't sound logical to me.
Modifying NAS connection settings doesn't allow you to change the user account, please follow the procedures below to change the setting:
Remove NAS retains the local files and folders but removes NAS setting in Qsync Client.
