Hello!
Newbie here!
I have purchased a TS-453Be (Firmware version: 4.5.4.1741) and I have the following problem:
The nas is connected directly to the modem-router (ZTE H288A) with both LAN adapters (static IPs configured). When the nas is powered on and for some reason the router restarts, nas blocks the router from connecting to the internet (DSL led is on but the internet led is off). If I disconnect both LAN cables then within 5 seconds router takes internet.
If anyone can help me solve this, I would be grateful.
Thank you!

Re: QNAP blocks obtaining public IP
Hi and welcome to the forum.
Try using only a single LAN cable from your NAS to the router.
Now reboot the router. Any difference?
I'm guessing your router doesn't like that you've connected 2 cables from the same device. This may even be causing the restarts.

Thank you for your response!
Unfortunately connecting only one cable does not solve the issue...

were you using two cables because you are using port aggregation? If so, did you turn off the port aggregation when you disconnected one of the cables?

I don't use port trunking. I use both LAN ports only for redundancy.
