QNP TS-251D only sends content to HDMI port number 3 of the Sony Android TV

My QNAP TS-251D nas sends content only to the HDMI port number 3 on the Sony Android TV. But I want to connect to the HDMI port number 2 of the TV. How to set this in QNAP NAS? Please note I am currently using Kodi. Any advice regarding this problem is appreciated. Thanks.

Unclear what the problem is..what happens when you connect the other HDMI port?and why not use KODI on the TV itself ?...

??? Referring to specs the NAS has exactly one HDMI output.
And how should the device control the settings at a Sony TV?
So if content is only received at HDMI 3 its up to the TV, not to the NAS!
You should check settings at TV for any difference between the HDMI input ports.

No content is received on the tv hdmi port other than number 3. In the case the screen is black and there is a message on the TV screen that says "No signal. Check the external input.."

Just run Kodi on your TV, no need to tether the NAS via HDMI and the NAS can still serve the files that way just fine (via network)

Thanks all who responded to my post. Now, the hdmi connection problem is solved after using a new hdmi cable.
