OpenSSH - Server refused our key

Post by ThePedi »

Hello Forum,
i can*t login with Public/Private SSH-Key on my QNAP TS-431.
If i start a ssh session with my Key-Pair i get:

Code: Select all

login as: admin
Server refused our key
admin@192.168.178.12's password:
After many tries, logs, google i found out, if i disable StrictModes inside /opt/etc/ssh/shhd_config it works. But i want/have to enable it.

Question:
Why i get this problem if StrictModes is enabled and/or how can i fix this problem? Get it work with

Code: Select all

StrictModes yes
.
