NAS hard drives do not go into standby

Post by MrMr2000 »

Hello,

unfortunately I have no idea why my hard drives do not go into standby mode.
Every 5 seconds the NAS 2 hard drives make clack noises all day.
These read or write accesses also occur when the NAS is disconnected from the LAN connector.
I have run and saved the blkdevMonitor.sh tool (hard disk readiness mode test).
Since I noticed that HBS3 is currently causing these problems, I uninstalled it.
The accesses are still there.

System information:
Model: TS-228A
Current firmware version: 4.4.1.1146

Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Thank you very much

I think Qnap gave up getting that to work a long time ago - too many features/background processes.

But for many people, the standby mode is running. There must be a reason why it does not work.
