Only one of four drives is flashing green and no access to NAS

Post by kochobay »

Hi,

I have a QNAP TS-431 with identical 4 2TB WD disks and RAID5 configuration.
Now status led and first 3 HDDs leds are fixed green, LAN flashing orange but 4th disk is flashing green as if a huge disk access on it.
And we have no access to SSH, web or File System although I can telnet to SSH port (22) and Http port (80).
Qfinder is also not able to find NAS.

Is there anyone having any idea about what's going on?

without ssh, it's pretty much impossible to tell

was the NAS web exposed ? maybe it's busy encrypting your files for ransom?

Thank you for response, no, NAS is not web exposed,
And only one drive has activity, the other three ones are fixed green.
It seems like 4rd one is formatting while others were sleeping.
