Make NAS write logs on a different drive

On my TS-431P I have currently two 4TB HDDs as RAID1 and one separate 512GB SSD installed. All stuff requiring frequent access should be placed on the SSD and the HDDs should spin down as often as reasonable (few minutes with no access). The issue is that they basically never spin down. Here's an excerpt the log, it's basically repeating all the same stuff once and once again:

How can I make the system to write all that storage usage history stuff on the SSD? And concerning Samba: One Windows computer has the HDD RAID array permanently mounted, but shouldn't access it. So in theory that shouldn't be an issue?

there is no permanent way to do this ..as this is the way the NAS was designed

If I would have known about this design choice I definitely wouldn't have bought a NAS from this vendor.

One further question regarding this topic: Currently first the HDDs in bay 1 and 2 have been installed and then later on the SSD in bay 3. Would it be advantageous to reset everything to factory defaults, then only install the SSD first in bay 1, then install all stuff and afterwards the HDDs in bay 2 and 3? Reading the linked thread I'm afraid that won't help, it would just feel safer. Am I correct?

It's just a feeling. Maybe doing one step of improvement without messing with stuff the vendor doesn't mean the users to do. But I've followed the suggestions in the linked thread. That works perfectly fine, tanks again!
