Hi there!!,
First, sorry for my English, I come from Madrid (Spain), and sorry if this is in the wrong place...
I can't connect to my NAS from outside of the local network.
I have the NAS connected to my router(Huawei HG532c).
My router Have the UPnp activated, and the firewall disabled. I have done the port forwarding of several ports, to my NAS IP. The NAS IP is fixed to 192.168.1.254.
I have test from a online page, and the ports are OPEN, but if I try to access to my nas by the webbrowser I can't
When I try to acess from outside , the only page that I see is the router admin in port 80.
I have tried to access through to my external IP, through dyndns and through MyCloudNAS and nothing
The NAS have fixed IP, and it has internet acess, because if I do a ping from the console, it's works
In the UPnP NAS diagnostics, I got the next message...
------ UPnP Diagnostics ------

Is the last line an error ??
I have no more ideas!!, any suggestion??
Thanks and Regards!

Re: TS-212 Can´t access from outside of the local network
You can't run your router on port 80 on the public WAN IP and forward all port 80 traffic to your QNAP at the same time. I would start disabling the remote access of your router on port 80.
The second problem you could have is that your router does not support NAT loopback. To check this you can try to access your machine from your mobile phone for instance (as long as it doesn't use the WiFi connection of your router) to see if that functions properly. If connecting from IP other than your own works, it means NAT loopback is not enabled or supported.
Basically if there is no NAT loopback the router will prevent the use of the public IP address to be reached from within the LAN itself. To fix this you can check if there is a firmware update for your router which sorts this. Check the configuration (some firmwares have an option to enable/disable NAT loopback). Or create host entries for your external address on which you try to access your machine.
Eg. On a Windows machine you would add to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc\Hosts

Re: TS-212 Can´t access from outside of the local network
I have returned
There is a something extranger....
If I test the external ip (or throught DynDNS) from my mobile device it's works, I can access to the NAS (console, explorer, multimedia, transmission, etc, etc), but if I try to test from a Laptop or a desktop (from my work not from my home)It's fail.
What's the wrong ??, any idea?
Thanks.

Re: TS-212 Can´t access from outside of the local network
The proxy server at your work does not allow traffic other than TCP/80 and TCP/443 most likely. HTTP and HTTPS on the standard ports only. Port 8080 traffic and such would be blocked.

Yes, may be ... I think that you're right.
I'll ask to the network admin .
Thanks a lot again forkless.
