Is there any chance we can have the Player and not server working on the HD STATIon that would be perfect.

I have been reading with much interest about this Emby Server on QNAP. I understand that it can't run on ARM processors.
Is there any way I can get it to run on my TS-419P+?

Re: [ Emby (Media Browser) ] [ 150719 ] Media server
I am running qpkg 150719. Currently I am having stability issues. I am using Roku 3's and Roku 2's in my house to connect to Emby with. Occasionally the streaming will hang/buffer. I have also had it where the Emby server hangs completely and the only solution is to reboot the qnap to get Emby to start back up. Shutting down the Emby app in the QNAP App store and then restarting has no effect. All devices are connected to enterprise 1gb switches and run over wired connections.
Is there any thing that can be done to help make the Qnap version of Emby and the Roku client more stable with each other?

Re: [ Emby (Media Browser) ] [ 150719 ] Media server
Hi Everyone,
Luke on the Emby forum suggested I look over here for answers. I am new to NAS devices and just setup a QNAP TS-131 at home. I would like to install Emby in order to use the device with my Roku box. I see that Mono and Emby server are available for download from a post on this forum. However, it looks like they are only available for x86 devices. Should I return the server I purchased and get something else? If so, what?
Thank you,
-david

Re: [ Emby (Media Browser) ] [ 150719 ] Media server
actually i dont manage ARM version lack of time to build my Toolchain, i only build Intel application
TS-131 is ARM, if you want Emby running now, no choice to use an Intel based NAS

I understand. Would a QNAP TS-251 (Intel 2.41GHz Dual Core CPU) be sufficient to run Emby for home use?

That's exactly what I am using without issue! I've upped mine to 8GB of RAM for safe measure as well.davideps wrote:I understand. Would a QNAP TS-251 (Intel 2.41GHz Dual Core CPU) be sufficient to run Emby for home use?

I've installed the EMBY server on my ts-251. Where can i find my multimedia share so I can add my movie library?
