TS-212 iSCSI problem

Post by GTR2 »

Hi to all,

I have had iSCSI on my TS-212 running for two years with no problem. But now there is big one. Is see the iSCSI drive, but when I try to access the drive Windows (WIn7 & Win8.1) says that drive needs to be formated before it will be used. When I checked the file system it says that disk is RAW instead of NFTS...

The log sometimes says Discovery Session - Login fails.

I also try to updated my firmware, but after while NAS returns that upgrade fails, but inspite this fact the NAS firmware seams to be upgraded...

Anybody have tips to repair the file system and regain all the data?

Thank you in advance.
NAS: Qnap TS-212, Firmware 3.8.1 Build 20121205
TV Station:1.0.2e, TV Tuner: Avermedia A835 (AVerTV Volar HD)

Hello GTR2,

I know this is somewhat off topic but I noticefrom your footer that you appear to be running an AverMedia A835 on a TS-212. Please confirm that they are compatible as the A835 is not listed by QNAP.

Thanks in advance,

Richard.
