qfile is not showing folders

Post by alzarah »

Qfile on my iphone was showing all the files. However just last week suddenly its only showing home folder only.
I don't know what happened, I can't see the Multimedia, Download, etc folders anymore. the same thing in the qnap web file station
I can see only home folder, even with admin login.

I can access my files only via windows and mac (smb, afp) all the files are there

what should i do to fix this problem ?

Try going to multimedia management in the control panel. Click media library, then hit the scan now button which is right next to the deactivate button. Hopefully that works for you

Same issue here. (And at a friend of mine)
I am missing folders in Qfile.
This problem wasn't there a couple of weeks ago...

The only one showing is "home".
Normally all the maps show, as I login as admin.

I noticed I am able to let the maps appear in QFile again, but I'm not happy with it.
At "Folder permissoin", when you set a folder to (guest rights); Full access or read only, it will show again.
But why is this suddenly? Previously this was not so.

The guest permission worked, but this is not a solution, its very insecure.

I tried remove permission from admin and then give permission back to admin in hope it would solve this issue
but it didn't
