Re: [ NextCloud ] [ 9.0.53 ] OwnCloud Fork
also one more quick question.....
the data path/install path should be @ /opt/Nextcloud instead of the normal /.qpkg/* that we use?

Re: [ NextCloud ] [ 9.0.53 ] OwnCloud Fork
The /opt/nextcloud is just a symlink pointing to the .qpkg created when apps start and removed it stops better set your data path in a share created in qts i think

Re: [ NextCloud ] [ 9.0.53 ] OwnCloud Fork
I cannot connect to the startpage
-created share htdocs
-installed QApache_2.4.23.0_x86.qpkg
--> http://servername:88/Apache/ is accessible
-installed NextCloud_9.0.53_x86.qpkg -no error
--> https://servername:45083 or http://servername:45080 can't be found
did I missed something?
QNAP TVS-663 v4.2.1
-created share htdocs
-installed QApache_2.4.23.0_x86.qpkg
--> http://servername:88/Apache/ is accessible
-installed NextCloud_9.0.53_x86.qpkg -no error
--> https://servername:45083 or http://servername:45080 can't be found

When you have created a share called htdocs, and installed QapacheQNAP3781 wrote:I cannot connect to the startpage

QNAP TVS-663 v4.2.1
after that install nextcloud.
How redicilous, but stop nextcloud, and start nextcloud then.
After that you will see an installation screen
Re: [ NextCloud ] [ 9.0.53 ] OwnCloud Fork

Nextcloud just launch a separate Qapache session dedicated for NextCloud and create a symlink in /opt/NextCloud pointing to your .qpkg/NextCloud

Remarkble, but that did it for me here.QNAP_Stephane wrote:it shouldnt... working hereCylonCenturion wrote:When you have created a share called htdocs, and installed QapacheQNAP3781 wrote:I cannot connect to the startpage

I have installed the Qapache as per your instructions, and the nextcloud after that.
Currently i have succesfully installed the android app on my cellphone, and created succesfully a directory.
Re: [ NextCloud ] [ 9.0.53 ] OwnCloud Fork
After some playing around with the package, i encountered some issues that i would like to discuss, if possible.QNAP_Stephane wrote:yes, just ping me here.. if you see an update before me and i will
1- This packages does not work with MariaDB. Owncloud failed here as well. This is a MariaDB issue, and not Qnap related. ( or i am doing something wrong )
2- Nextcloud thinks it lives in the Web directory, and therefore shows an error, similair like this:
Code: Select all
Your data directory and your files are probably accessible from the Internet. The .htaccess file is not working. We strongly suggest that you configure your web server in a way that the data directory is no longer accessible or you move the data directory outside the web server document root.
Code: Select all
[/share/Web] # cd /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/NextCloud/nextcloud
[/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/NextCloud/nextcloud] # ls
3rdparty/ apps/ core/ db_structure.xml* l10n/ ocs/ remote.php* settings/ updater/
AUTHORS* config/ cron.php* index.html* lib/ ocs-provider/ resources/ status.php* version.php*
COPYING-AGPL* console.php* data/ index.php* o
Code: Select all
[/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/NextCloud/nextcloud] # mv data /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/NextCloud
cd /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/NextCloud/nextcloud/config
vi config.php, browse to the line where the data dir is pointed.
press i
modify the line.
press escape
press SHIFT+ZZ
restart owncloud
now owncloud believes that the data dir is no longer in the 'Web ' dir.
