QMusic Feature Request Alphabetical Short Cut for Long Lists

Post by eissen »

From a certain amount of entries it makes no fun to scroll down a list.
So please put an alphabet beside the lists of songs, artists, albums and genres to be able not only hear A...
Kind regards

Use the feedback button in the app. Nobody here can help with your request.

You're welcome. I have had issues with the IOS version (specifically iPad 3) which Qnap was able to resolve in a test version I downloaded from them, but when the latest version was installed a couple of weeks ago, the sound issue returned. Fortunately I saved the test version and am back to normal. The same sound issue surfaced in the newest Qfile too! When informing Qnap mobile support about this, they said they are facing other issues and it may be awhile before any further bug fixes get resolved in Qmusic.

Ok.
My issue is that I can not scroll down the long lists (thousands of entries). I think I'm not the only one. There is a common solution to offer an alphabet to access directly certain letters. But also I don't expect a solution shortly.
I tried the photo and music app about an year ago (or longer), and they were for me completely useless.
Now they improved a lot, and for some purposes I can and will use them.
Thanks for the explications.

Sorry if I got a bit off topic. Having an alphabetical list would be great. For my use of the app, I mainly use the random song button and let it load 50 songs. If not done so already, definitely send them feedback just to see if you get a response.

It's ok. It is an experience interchange.

I already got a feedback, the official title of the request is "[Qmusic iOS Feature] Add alphabet shortcut for quickly jumping to the desired letter in a long list".

At the moment I'm using the app intensively. Might be it will be my favourite very soon. I agree that the random function is perfect to hear not only the same.

I appreciate it's an old discussion, but has this (having an alphabetical list on the right, so you don't have to scroll through thousands of items) been implemented, at least on the Android version of q-music?
