Configuring video on centps 7 VM

I've created up a small Centos 7 VM on my 451+. Disk and network and console character access all working great but I cannot get a working Xorg configuration. I've tried all 4 of the video cards (VGA. VMVGA.CIRRUS. QXL) and nothing works. With VMVGA I get a successful Xorg configure but when I test it the screen flashes a bit, goes black and I am done. With everything else I get fatal errors.

Any advice on configuring the video would be appreciated.
