Hi,
I have a 4 NIC NAS. Suddenly one of my ports is not being assigned a valid IP address. The other 3 work just fine.
Things I've tried:
Router is configured to assign DHCP.
All 4 ports are plugged into the same switch.
Resetted the NAS
Reassign the NIC in Virtual Switch Manger.
Any help please?
Thanks

Re: Unable to Obtain IP
Model: TS677
Firm: 4.3.4.0597
The mac should be valid. Especially so since I just reset it the system.
I assign a static IP but I still cannot reach the internet.
Thanks

Use RAID and external backups. RAID will protect you from disk failure, keep your system running, and data accessible while the disk is replaced, and the RAID rebuilt. Backups will allow you to recover data that is lost or corrupted, or from system failure. One does not replace the other.
